Local temperature terminal THERMOSTAT
THERMOSTAT is a wall-mountable compact module. It contains a temperature sensor, LCD display with two buttons. It provides a possibility of monitoring and changing some parameters of buildings heating controlling mechanisms.
It is possible to browse through current indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, desired indoor temperature or heating regime and states set by controlling system. A user can also change the desired room temperature right at the place.
There are 4 wires used to connect THERMOSTAT to a master system. There are supply voltage wires and data RS485 wires. More THERMOSTAT modules can be connected to a RS485 line. Every module communicates through MODBUS protocol and EIA/TIA specification.
In FARCOM system is the THERMOSTAT module usually put on the subsidiary RS485 line, which is mastered by a MPM-H module. There can be connected up to 16 THERMOSTAT modules to one MPM-H module.
